Blackwater Pilsner restocked — nobody mentioned it

Blackwater Pilsner came back in stock last Wednesday. I put it on the bottom shelf of cooler three, logged the count, and went back to unpacking the IPA delivery.

By Friday afternoon, eleven cases were gone. By Monday close, we were down to the last six-pack on the display shelf.

No one asked about it. No one mentioned the restock. It just moved.

The pour

Clean lager, 22 IBU, straw-gold color. Mild hop bitterness on the finish, nothing aggressive. The kind of beer that doesn't try to teach you anything.

I poured one during my break Thursday. Crisp, balanced, gone in four sips. Exactly what the label promised.

What the numbers say

Twenty-two cases in five days is faster than Ashford Brown, slower than Riverside Bock. Middle-of-the-road velocity for a restock.

But Ashford had Mitch putting up tasting cards. Riverside had Kara rearranging the end-cap twice. Blackwater just sat there and sold.

Why it matters

Some beers need the pitch. Some don't.

Blackwater's back on the order sheet for next week. Same shelf, same count, same quiet exit strategy.
