We stocked Westbrook Doppelbock on Monday afternoon. Four twelve-bottle cases, middle shelf in cooler two, next to the Märzen section. Standard placement.

Tuesday morning inventory: forty-eight bottles. Thursday close-of-day: zero.

No front-of-house signage. No email blast. Mitch didn't mention it in his weekend roundup. I didn't write tasting notes.

What we know

The Doppelbock sits at 8.2% ABV and pours dark amber with a malt-forward profile — caramel, toast, minimal hop presence. The brewery lists it at 22 IBU. Clean finish, no cloying sweetness.
