Brookvale Amber moved twelve units in two hours

Restocked Brookvale Amber Thursday night — six-packs on cooler three, middle shelf, right side. By Saturday close we were down to four singles.

Friday between three and five PM accounted for twelve units. No promotion, no sample station, no signage change. Just steady pickup during the after-work window.

What probably happened

Brookvale sits at 28 IBU with a clean malt backbone and almost no hop presence on the finish. It's an easy recommend when someone asks for "something not IPA." Kara mentioned she'd been steering people toward it all week.

Also: we're between seasons. The heavier stouts aren't moving yet, and the summer lagers are starting to feel wrong for October. Amber fills that gap without requiring explanation.

Restock notes

Increasing next Thursday's order from two cases to three. If the pattern holds through next weekend, we'll adjust again. Middle shelf stays middle shelf — it's working.

No need to overthink this one. Sometimes a beer just matches the moment and people notice.
